Reef Life Team Heads to Cleantech OPEN Feb 2017 San Francisco --- Climate Change Technologies
“Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it’s the only thing that ever has.”
Cleantech Week is a calling of the tribes, a gathering of all those seeking to create careers and generate capital by answering the climate change technology challenge. To bring sustainable infrastructure to billions of people around the world, the required changes are massive.
To slow climate change we need to translate climate risks into business opportunities, build a global architecture of participation for climate action, and stabilize the climate system by shifting away from dirty unsustainable technology toward clean sustainable technology. We must rebuild every industrial sector—each representing an investment opportunity of $1 trillion or more. Join us in building this cleantech future: where industry is sustainable; where homes produce more energy than they consume; where electric, autonomous cars make traffic and urban smog remnants of the past; and where agriculture supports local ecosystems.
Reef Life was accepted to the Cleantech accelerator in 2016 beginning in Palo Alto and ending February 7-11 in San Francisco where Reef Life will pitch to the Global Climate Technology Community, and show their ocean adaptation and infrastructure systems in a booth in front of Cleantech global companies and Impact Investors.
Cleantech Week merges the cleantech industry and the climate movement to create new business opportunities, highlight solutions, engage citizens, cultivate partnerships, and spur further massive investment—following the $320 billion of global capital invested in the cleantech space last year alone.
Five days, 40+ events in downtown San Francisco with 100s of our best startups, 1000s of participants, and thought-leaders from our network of driven corporate partners like Coca-Cola, Ford, Siemens, and Autodesk. Spearhead the transition to a clean economy by joining us for this breakthrough event series offering a week of summits, tech expos/pitch sessions, and a job fair, at selected venues like Climate One at the Commonwealth Club and Autodesk’s Design Gallery.
