Coral Reef Growth Plates

(pictured left)

These plates are suspended from support blocks set into bombed hillsides. The coral can grow on the plates, which are held in place by steel or plastic cables or fiberglass bars.

This "blanket" covers damaged reefs and sloped vertical surfaces after bombing, storm or construction damage, providing the ability to grow coral, algae and reef plants.
